11/4/08 Congrats to Barack Obama and the United States of America!! We did it. I never thought I would live to see this day until his campaign began. I had the honor of working on his campaign and I will speak about this victory to my daughters and their children with pride and honor. Yes We Can! I now have the pivotal moment in African American History that I can share with the future generations of my family. I played my part I hope you did to.

10/14/08. I just got my daughter. Due to a crazy world I will be raising her alone. I am scared Sh*tless!!! But you gotta do what you gotta do. Shouts to all the single moms!! I appreciate ya'll so much more.lol

i am just loving life without the petty concerns and stress. The things I can`t control I can`t worry about. Anyone outside of my circle of family,friends and associates don`t really have an impact on how I think or move. This life is filled with obstacles that if you allow them to they will stagnate your forward progress and take control of your life. I speak from experience on this and only when I made it not just a choice but a goal to relieve myself of those persons and situations have I truly enjoyed my time on this planet. Those that are not with you are against you and it is that warrior state of mind that separates the achievers from the dreamers. D_Tariq
