It is rude to come in and not speak. So, make sure you drop me a line or sign my guestbook. Well, a little about me....I'm a really cool and laid back woman. People say I have a good sense of humor. I try to enjoy life to it's fullest because the next moment is definitely not a guarantee. I am a drama-free 29 year old with no children. I made a promise to myself a long time ago that I did not want to have a "baby's daddy", but to one day have a husband who would be the father of my children. I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with that, but it's just not for me. I work in corporate America, but I am also a singer/actress. I'm looking and trusting in bigger and better things ahead for me. In the personality sense, it takes a lot to make me upset or even get me irritated. A LOT! I don't like dealing with "grown people" who are really children. That's why I am intolerant of messy people, which include those who try to take advantage of people who care about them. You know, those who can't handle an independent woman who is every bit of that, A WOMAN. Those are the type who are really only ready for those ghetto fabs instead of fabulous people with goals, aspirations and accomplishments. Some people say that they are looking for Mr or Ms Right, but in all actuality, they can't even spell the word "right" because it is THEM who is WRONG!!! You might say, dang, she's been hurt one too many times. But, no that's not the case at all. I have just had experiences in life that I'm glad I've gone through because they INDEED made me stronger. Bitter? Not in the least. I'm just more cautious. There are a lot of wolves in sheep's clothing out there. Just need to put on those x-ray glasses.....LOL. Here's a poem I wrote a while back. I have a new motivation...in the works....Hope you like it! Breakthrough Higher and higher Above my head it goes, With no limit to its destination. It contains so many damn bricks, I can't even find the foundation. Years and years full of pain and scars. It's to the point now I feel I, an inmate behind closing bars. Things I used to do, I don't do no more. Things I used to cherish are stored away in a drawer. Friends of old, more stories to be told. Clink, clink, clink Bang, bang, bang I need to break through. Time spent thinking I was the one wrong. Instead of living life, I added another brick to a sad love song. Nights spent crying, wishing I was dying. I was numb, feeling like a paraplegic. All the time I was just blind and couldn't see it. YOU! Living another life behind my back. I! Laying more bricks so no one could attack. It's like the wall is closing in on me. Through the peepholes I can no longer see. Seems like I've been here before Yeah, awhile before I let you walk through that door That door. Yeah that door; the door to my heart When you said that life with you would be a new start. Yeah the start of undercover lies And scheming alibis. Boom, boom, boom Clank, clank, clank I need to break through Days and days of trying not to crack Trying to get my life back on track. I can no longer let you consume me. Gotta keep you in my past and just let it be. The loss of our love allows me to break free. Now through the tears,I am now able to see These bricks are turning into mush. Don't open your mouth, look, just Shh!!! Move out of my way. That's all I'm going to say. I loosed my frustration and found my consolation.
