personal message

Hello Black Planet. I'm a research biologist, artist, genealogist, salsa dancer, sister, daughter, and good friend to a lot of cool folks. A person's image is largely based upon the way he/she treats other people. You will be seen as classy, regal, gracious, thoughtful and beautiful inside and out based on how you interact with others. I am often asked about my dating preferences. I am open to meeting a life partner and best friend; someone I can both dream with and actually build with. I'm working on changing the world (specifically, by pushing biological engineering to its limits in order to build safe and helpful tools that only sci-fi authors might imagine). I'm about bringing underrepresented faces into the leading edge in order to enhance our community with builders. The type of character that compliments my passions and sparks inspiration for me is not the baller, fashion model, power broker, or guy with swagger out of control. Instead, he's balanced, inspired, and focused on important things.

Thought of the Moment

Another reason why I avoid thuggish profiles: yet more innocent youths fell victim to violence in a predominantly black neighborhood of Boston. Kimani Washington has been arrested as a suspect. His Facebook profile is the typical shirtless photo-featuring and half-literate essay riddled page I've unfortunately seen countless numbers of on Facebook, Black Planet, and black dating sites.

What His Facebook Page Says About Kimani Washington

Fellas, FYI, if your profile looks like this, this is one of the reasons why you are not getting responses from decent women. When you represent yourself this way, you are likening yourself to guys who are actual criminals. Please don't sell yourself short because an attractive amateur stripper or video-queen-wannabe is on the internet claiming that this is what real men look and act like.
