"Stupefy yourselves, and be stupid! Blind yourselves, and be blind! Ye that are drunken, but not with wine, that stagger, but not with strong drink. For The Almighty has poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and has closed your eyes; the prophets, and your heads, the seers, has He covered. And the vision of all this is become unto you as the words of a writing that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying: "Read this, I pray thee" and he say: "I... It's Time For PPS Philosophical Philosophized Syncretism If you’re a person of color and happen to be living in America and consider yourself an African American and/or you’re simply “Black in America”, or if you’re just considered “Black” and living somewhere in a “Westernized” society, I have two questions for ya! How deep does your knowledge of African history go and do you consider the information that you have part of “YOUR” rich heritage? If not, then you, as an African descendant should take a good look in the mirror. Here are a few thoughts that may help! What is culture and how did it originate? In what language is the “word” culture rooted and who invented the first alphabet? What group of people comprised the first civilization and what happen from there? How does mankind relate to such history and does anyone have information regarding these historical events? PPS – Philosophical Philosophized Syncretism Philosophical (adjective) 2. Concerned with deep questions of life: concerned with or given to thinking about the larger issues and deeper meanings in life and events 3. Showing calmness and resignation: showing calmness, restraint, or resignation, especially reacting to adversity in a restrained or resigned way.
2. Intransitive verb explain or moralize in superficial way: to express opinions of a supposedly philosophical nature in a superficial, tedious, or moralistic way. 3. Transitive verb philosophy deal with something from philosophical standpoint: to consider, explain, or deal with something from a philosophical standpoint. Syncretism (noun) 2. Merging of different inflectional forms: the use of a single inflectional form of a word to cover functions previously covered by two separate forms, e.g. "spun" in English, now used for both the past tense and the past participle although the past tense used to be "span." It’s time for “Black” to be taken out of our description (to hell with the “N” word…it means the same damn thing!) and replaced with the “W” word – A “WISE” and understanding people. What Is PPS The bigger picture surrounding issues of why “Black” people around the world want so desperately to fit in a society, of which, their only a very small percentage of the total populations. Having their real identity violently stripped away by force and replaced with a culture not known by their forefathers. Searching the deeper meanings in life – “Who Are We…Really?” Establishing events to reconnect with our natural rhythms and come to terms with the fact that “We Are Different” and be proud of it. Openly discuss the true nature of our reality…”We Are Black In America” and “We Are Black Throughout The World.” We live an impossible dream – to be equal to our former slave masters who illegally branded upon us a world class slave status because of the difference in our skin tone. Embrace our true reality in order to change it or a part of it such as ethics, logic, knowledge, or existence. Combine into one goal as a cultural group of different beliefs and create a different system of philosophical and spiritual practice that’s better suited for who we really are. Now step back and take a much closer look at the “God” whom our slave masters came in the name of. Then ask yourself, what would our true cultural heritage have thought of this religious version of belief? Really! I have a thought…”We would rather fight than switch!!! Our issues are not with the man…our issues are among ourselves, “We” as a people can break through our barriers whenever we want as one standing with one and trusting in the ONE that created us. Now Check This We are now living in the 21 century A.D. right? Did you know that African cultural heritage dates back further than the 21 century B.C.?! Consider this, 2009 years after Christ death. Verse many thousands of years before Christ was even born…talk about a track record! Among historians today, there is no doubt that African culture dominated the “Fertile Crescent” putting the “C” in civilization and the “L” in law. “How’s that for a concept?!” Look, although there are many points of history related to “Ancient African Culture”, I would just like to state for the record that the Africans of the diaspora do indeed have a heritage which consists of a rich “Afro- Asiatic” point of view. And should they begin to free their minds with this once proud “Afro-Centric” culture, one can rest assured that their a** will follow. Africans were not only “Bushmen” they were builders of great empires too! Thus, as descendents of great African minds, we owe it to all future generations to find out just exactly what this “Afro-Centric” point of view consist of... because through slavery, our heritage was violently stripped away from us by force of arms and is a issue that’s never discussed. “To find yourself is to find YOUR cultural heritage and to find your cultural heritage is to free your mind from “slave enforced indoctrination.”
Why is the word “Black” associated with African descendants, “White” with European descendants, “Red” with Is there an answer? Yes, it lies within Germanic culture and was exported throughout western societies! Johann Friedrich Blumenbach (May 11, 1752 – January 22, 1840) was a German doctor and physiologist, one of the first to explore the study of mankind as an aspect of natural history, whose teachings in comparative anatomy were applied to classification of human races, of which he determined five. Caucasian or white race Joseph Arthur Comte de Gobineau (July 14, 1816 — October 13, 1882) was a French aristocrat, novelist and man of letters who became famous for developing the racialist theory of the Aryan master race in his book An Essay on the Inequality of the Human Races (1853-1855). De Gobineau is credited as being the father of modern racial demography Houston Stewart Chamberlain (September 9, 1855 - January 9, 1927) was a British-born author of books on political philosophy, natural science and his posthumous father-in-law Richard Wagner. His two-volume book Die Grundlagen des Neunzehnten Jahrhunderts (The Foundations of the Nineteenth Century) (1899) became one of the many references for the pan-Germanic movement of the early 20th century, and, later, of Nazi racial philosophy.
As a cultural group have Africans benefited from being exported (via slavery) to westernized societies during this day and at this time? And as a cultural group do we feel we can ever return to the glory of a proud and successful people once again as our forefathers once were? Dwelling on the past is not what I’m suggesting here. What I’m suggesting is (1) We have a great heritage to build from and (2) We need to build toward the future as a people. Another important aspect of knowing your forefather’s history is to help you understand what they did as a people well. Where utilizing that knowledge can help to build upon it. Providing you with the tools needed to build that success again. You can’t build anything correctly without the proper tools and that include life. More importantly and from a heritage standpoint, how would the ancient cultural heritage of a once successful, proud, and powerful people guide Africans of the diaspora through our present day dilemma?
Once again, “what ii the dilemma of Africans as a cultural group?" A Question For The Descendants Of Slaves In America Does anyone have an idea as to how long we’ve been enslaved in this country? Yes, no, maybe so?
Even today in 2009 we’re constantly faced with certain aspects of the “First Of” status in this society. Who dares to say we are not enslaved in this country? If not physically, certainly mentally! It’s still big news and reason for celebration when we overcome another barrier related to the “First Of” this or the “First Of” that 390 years after we were brought here against out will. We still have to face an act extension by congress to keep our right to vote. Author David Walker (an African living in Boston, Mass in 1830 A.D.), recorded what he observed in his day and was found murdered on his doorstep June 28, 1830, and some 179 years later, the descendants of African slaves face the very same dilemmas.
Where it is said that (A) it takes money to make money and (B) the rich gets richer as the poor poorer. It holds true because big money passes from one rich hand to the other, never falling into the hands of the majority who really needs it most. One good way to empower the people is with skills of economic stability…such as “Give a Dollar – Give a Hand.” Which in turn will supply skills of industry, which in turn will produce marketing of goods and services. Allowing a people to grow and evolve, enriching their lives through the industry they establishes. Africans have a very long history of greatness in economic stability. We are the same people and if our Ancestors could do it…we can do it! How many more, just how many more cultural martyrs must there be before we as a people will wake up? How long must we continue going through economic genocide? As a people we need no longer cry “Give!” “Give!” “Give!” “Simply step aside and let us kick the door in.” We no longer have to look to other places for help when the help we really need is to help ourselves and turn to a “God” that forgives and saves! A living divine authority that’s in the business of miracles and nation building. We no longer have to live believing anyone owe us anything. We owe it to ourselves to do for ourselves and look to the healing of our people. No one have to “GIVE” us anything…including “FREEDOM” when that power lies within our own hands. We have the power to do for ourselves in stead of in spite of ourselves. African descendants living in America are 13% of the total U.S. population which means if put all together in one state, we would barely fill it up! However, if that 13% would “GIVE” a “Dollar” and “LEND” a “HAND” we would be empowered enough to “BUY” an industry and employ our needy. Again, if that 13% could somehow come together and elect a “Board Of Trustees from each state and collect that $1,00 and register that 1 hand from a man and/or woman, establish a bank and list of workers willing to donate their skills for a project. Then hold a national conference to decide how best to spend and utilize the collected resources for the purchase of an industry to begin helping one another. That’s what “ONE” dollar and “ONE” hand can do…now imagine two, or three! Here again I ask… What is our dilemma? Believe you me...a "LOT" is going to happen within the next 10 years! By the way, I have $20.00 and a hand…where do I sign up!
