When I was a little girl

I remember thinking

I was going to be a great writer

one day

dreaming of my many published works

and the accolades I was to win

however

life didn't play-out like that

She struggled to regain consciousness

as she laid sprawled out

on the bathroom floor

wearing nothing

but her favorite gold 4inch strappy pumps

which

now were squeezing tightly

to her perfectly pedicured feet

the night had been long

and those pumps had truly earned

the $486.00 she spent so lavishly at 'Neiman's'

as if she was Donald Trumps's mistress

The way she gyrated on stage

Bouncing

Shaking and it dropping it low

it was hot

most importantly

it was mezmerizing....

Her regular patrons

knew that her rent was due

and she intended to collect

every bit of it

plus more

before the night was over

So they were more than willing

to offer up their big bills

considering it was payday

They freely gave of their

knowing that she was well worth it

And the new on-lookers followed persuit

throwing their bills at the stage too
