Now I Know

there was a time when i believed in perfect.
once i think i even believed in you.
i never knew disappointment
from love i thought was worth it.
i wish i knew..
there were days i let it all go
to watch the worries fix themselves by morning.
i believed that i had done my part;
those were days when i didn't know,
and now my ignorance has torn me.
THINKING we were perfect,
