With Tuesday's vote in Massachusetts, people all over the country are absolutely giddy at the prospect that we will survive another election to remain under the yoke of the demopublican beast. I first saw this video on Ron Paul's blog over at MySpace. For me, the most striking fact is the year that it was broadcast. All of this was true in 1987. What's to say that, with a former CIA director sitting as Vice President, an actor as President, and many $200 billion deficits already on the books, that a CIA covert action had not already taken place in this country? We've missed two chances to get this man into the White House. He points out that the practice of not reading proposed legislation has been going on for some time. As a matter of fact, it was standard practice by the time the Patriot Act came up for a vote.
