WOW!
Its amazing how the new year has ushered its way in. If you are
anything like me you look back on the things that happened in 2007,
whether bad or good, and wonder how it all happened. For me, 2007
was a year filled with disappointment, upset, illness and the
likes. At one point and time I wanted to give up because I couldn't
see how I would make it. Thankfully, God placed a spirit inside of
me that wouldn't allow for failure and instead I embraced all that
was thrown at me. I made the decision that I wouldn't become
depressed; that I wouldn't be sad and that I
WOULD NOT GIVE UP! See its easy to give up, but
harder to perservere in the midst of adversity. I say all of this
to you because as you go into the year of 2008 and every year
thereafter, be prepared for all that is thrown at you. Desire to
have a mindset that allows you to get back up when knocked down.
What you will discover is that at the first sign of disappointment
a feeling of peace will come over you and you will still have the
overwhelming will to keep going.
In tune with
that, I want to thank all of those that encouraged me, allowed me
to cry on their shoulders and that also told me how much they
learned by watching me overcome life. I celebrated my 28th birthday
on December 21st and my bestfriend made this
statement:
"I had
never seen strength or what it really meant to have faith until I
saw you go through and come out of everything you
endured."
So also be mindful of
the fact that your trials and your ability to overcome your trials
can be a testimony and sow a seed into the life of others. I think
that is all I have to say about that for now! Love you
all!
P.S.
- I know some of you are wondering about me, who I am and even,
what I am interested in romantically. Just to answer your question,
if you can see life outside of the box, get joy from those things
yet to come, inspire others without speaking, embrace upset and
humble yourself in victory your are perfect for me! And for those
that need more, just know that I am a hopeless romantic with a
knack for making your mind and body have an orgasm that is beyond
belief!
