As an adolescent and teenager, it was only natural that I challenged authority and rebelled a bit. I did much of this in the classroom. Debates and discussions were amongst favorites...not because I enjoyed having an opposing side, but because I was genuinely interested in 1.) voicing my opinion 2.)hearing the opinions of others I think both are vital to our experience as citizens with the freedom to speak our minds on particular issues.
