One of the most important spiritual lessons I ve learned over the years is that we serve an INFALLIBLE GOD! He makes no mistakes and His words are FAITHFUL! Have you ever asked yourself the question Whose words can I trust? Most of us have probably experienced others telling us things we want to hear, but the tragedy of it all is that mere men fail us all the time. Words are very powerful and sometimes we cling to words that are hollow and empty and lead to sorrow and emptiness. Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. Psalm 1:1
The Apostle Paul was very firm in warning us to be careful and not to let anyone rob us [of this faith] through a shallow and misleading philosophy. Such a person follows human traditions and the world`s way of doing things rather than following Christ. 2 Colossians 2:8
The opinions of men come and go. Science varies from age to age. The philosophies of men change and waver, but that which God has spoken in His Word is immutable, unalterable, and fixed forever! God s word has been proven and stands the test of times. His Word is Authoritative over all because it has proven itself true, effective and faithful. Who or what can supersede His Word? The answer is NO ONE or NOTHING! To measure up to God is to be God!
