Expect Nothing... Appreciate Everything!!!

I am a 44 year old, proud mother of one... an 11 year old son who I adore. Being a Mom is the best job I've ever had. I'm a pretty laid-back, down-to-earth, genuine, honest person. I am also a very independent person so I am not looking for anyone to take care of me. Nor am I looking to take care of any one (lol).. I am *drama-free* and would love to stay that way. I try to live a stress-free life and so far... so good. I'm not really looking for love or a long term relationship at this time... been down that road too many times. However, if love should find me, I'll be more than receptive. I've had a few bad relationships of late and I just don't want to revisit *heartbreak hotel* again any time soon so I'm just looking to make new friends.
