Hello to everyone out there on Black Planet. My name is L I am 27 years old living in the Birmingham, AL area.
My motto is: Don`t look for anything and you will find EVERYTHING!!!! I am not on here to sell myself. I am not an advertisement for anything. I don t have to list my virtues, nor to catalog the attributes I would like in a man. I am just here to voice my opinions. I have loved, and I have hated, I have cried, and laughed, I have felt joy and I ve known my share of sorrow. All this experience from a girl who has only seen 27 winters and 27 summers. Yet I am still here, I have not been broken, I have not admitted to defeat, life goes on with or with the one you love. It may not seem like it at first but like time life will go on. The value of the life maybe altered not having their arms around you, or their goodnight kisses, so shed your tears and move on. Cry into your pillow until you can t. Talk to anyone who will listen to your story of love and hurt, until your mouth is dry or until their ears fall from their heads. Scream, and punch the walls, but let it go. You say that this person was your soul mate and that he or she was your destiny well that all may be true. They may be your soul-mate sometime in the future but for right now they are just your soul-ache. To live this life and retain some semblance of sanity I have kept one thing in mind: That everything happens for a reason. Certain people come into our lives for a reason and a season, when they have fulfilled their purpose it s time for that person to leave. You have to know that there is a God who loves us all and that there is a greater purpose for us to be here on this earth, something more than getting the perfect job or finding the perfect spouse, or riches, there is more. You have to believe that and follow His lead. The path that he has chosen for us my lead us through some thorns and deserts, and harsh storms, but the destination is paradise. Let Him lead you to the one He has chosen for you. We are not able to pick our perfect mates because we can t see the bigger picture. Sometimes you have to fall just to realize how high you were. Don t give up on love, don t close your heart. Love is out there, love is yours. Don t search for anything---wait for everything. Be happy with yourself and all your Perfect Imperfections. What I mean by "Perfect Imperfections" is that you and I were created by the only perfect one and therfore we are perfect. I may not be what society calls perfect but I am what God calls perfect because He is perfect. I have gotten people trying to talk me into sex with them. People that claim they want a good God-fearing woman in thier lives but when they meet one all they can talk about is how much thay want to be physical with me.
