THE PRELUDE

I can't sleep

Tossing and turning, sheets bunching underneath me

Waiting patiently for that pager beep

To change my present status from just me to we

I lay here as time pass

Pondering back to special moments

Reminiscing on how well you kissed me, tasted me, freaked me

Addicting me to the drugs of your sexuality

My emotions began to rise, as well as my manhood

Thoughts of us possibly sharing one another tonight is a mind boggling, unadulterated experience

No inhibitions, no rejections, no uncertainty

I lay, waiting silently, impatiently, almost crazed out of my mind

I can hear the cries of the house as it gives in to the heat of the morning sun

Time seemingly stumbling over every second, every minute, and every hour

This prelude to our passion
