GINA RENAY is the mastermind, freestyling designer of her fashion-tabulous line called AWE!Some CROCHET. She is an innovative instructor extolling both individuals and groups in the art & joy of freeform design. She is a poetess, visionary, conceptual fiber artist, costume designer for the indie movie 'Dream Kweens', sign praise interpretative dancer, coordinator, storyteller and mom-preneur. Her fashions have been featured on tv, in newspapers, galleries, hair & fashion shows. Having arrived in Atlanta August 2005 from Escatawpa, MS a day before Hurricane Katrina hit, she has unleashed a fury of her own. She has adorned herself with strength, courage and determination to persevere to make a name for herself. Having lost 90% of everything to the storm, she impassionedly and dauntlessly announces: 'Katrina will not defeat me--you can't keep this good stitch down!'
