BEST OF 2010 TO EVERYONE!!

Hello! I've been on this site for years but have never really put it to use. Thought it was about time. I'm looking to meet some new friends and thought this might be a good place to start. You can never have too many friends so don't be "scurred" to say hello. I just want to get to know some interesting people and have some interesting conversations. Chicago is a fantastic place and I need more people to help me explore it!

What do you need to know about me? I live in Northwest Indiana but work in the city. I'm very low key and quiet. I love to laugh so I don't take things too seriously. I do have a very sarcastic side but I try to only let it come out with people I know can handle it. I appreciate the little things in life that others may take for granted. I'm not into the typical "girl" things...I need some serious fashion sense, I hate to shop (it gives me a headache), I think the color pink should be outlawed, I never did learn how to put on all that makeup and you must understand that come Fall, it's all about the Raiders for me! On the flip side, I'm a great listener, a loyal friend and very low maintenance (hmm....I kinda sound like a beagle).

What do I need to know about you? Hopefully you are intelligent and can carry on a conversation. Are not a raving Republican. Have lots of interests and/or hobbies I can be fascinated by. Love your family. Are nice to people and pets. Know that what you wear, drive or carry on your arm does not define who you are. Have a fierce sense of pride in who we are as a people.

Sound good? If so, shoot me an email and let me know a little about yourself. Maybe we can find some common ground or even get together for coffee (Starbucks rules!) and some witty conversation at some point. If we run out of convo, we could always talk about people as they walk by. :)
