I enjoy meeting individuals that are...REAL, and come correct. I'm not a perpetrator, or put up any kind of front and honestly... I don t involve myself with anyone who chooses to participate in that either. If that's you... then that s you... be happy about- YOU. But, that s not for me so...I suppose the other 11 million members of BP would be a better choice for you to contact, rather than myself lol. Just speakin my mind... that's all it is. THAT BEING SAID...WASSUUUUUUP???? : ) Alright, I am a complex individual in some ways, and a very simple individual in others. My sense of humour is something I enjoy expressing because I know that laughter...is healing to many, in so many ways. :) Y all ready? Aaight... heeeeeeeeerrre we gooooo... I was born in Toronto, Canada and raised in both Toronto and Bermuda (where my fathers side of the family is from and still reside) I m a self-proclaimed INTROVERT with many EXTROVERT tendancies. This basically means that I am a relaxed and calm individual by nature, but when prompted or provoked, I can get a lil...wild here and there...sometimes a LOT wild EVERYwhere lol!!! I m not easily stressed, I m pretty open-minded, and I just try to take it easy most of the time. Wanna learn more? Please feel free to ask me. I enjoy chillin at home, goin to movies, plays, poetry sessions, sporting events, or anything DIFFERENT that comes up something that will STIMULATE my mind, or excite me in a different way other than just seein the same kind of faces in the same kind of club listenin to the same kind of music...every...single...weekend. Feel me? Don t get me wrong though, I ll go to a club maybe once every couple months or so, and I am able to enjoy myself BECAUSE I haven t been doin it every weekend. So...that s my take on THAT. I`ve been through quite a bit throughout my life thus far,but I would rather continue to live as though I have more to learn... that keeps my mind and my eyes open, and it helps to keep me grounded and humble. MY DAUGHTER - who provides me inspiration every... single... minute of my day to be a better person for both her and myself. She is 13 years old...but it seems as though...time has gone SO quickly. It seems as though...she is on her way...on her own soon. I take my responsibilities as a PARENT as PRIMARY, and I try extremely hard to ensure that every move I make, is to her benefit...so that she can grow into ...a TRUE...VIRTUOUS...HONEST...AND LOVING WOMAN! That is the blessing that God gave me, and I promise to put every effort into succeeding at MOTHERHOOD, more than for ANY CAREER for any amount of $$ and/or benefits/perks that could be offered to me. The rewards of a successful CHILD, FAR outweigh the rewards of a successful CAREER. Parents remember this, from one parent to another. LOVE, in it s TRUE form - the ability to LOVE someone, and to be loved by someone, is the most incredible, the most... fulfilling feeling you can receive and give by and to anyone. I do not speak the word "LOVE" with ease. I am very respectful of this word because... honestly... this world has become so... violent so... materialistic that.. LOVE... just doesn`t hold much importance to many, as it should. So, therefore I use it only in instances that it is necessary. I am so grateful for LOVE, period. Without it... smh (shaking my head) what would be the point? MUSIC - Music.. I dunno, it just FILLS me with ENERGY. It motivates me, educates me, heals me when I`m in need, gives me a high... I don`t know WHAT I`d do in this life withOUT music!!! I grew up being influence by SO MANY different eras of music thanks to my mother, my grandparents and my great-grandmother. Because of them, I have a DEEP love affair with music as a whole. Think about these names...and you ll feel where I am coming from: The Supremes,Sarah Vaughn, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles,Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole, Marvin Gaye, Tammi Terrell, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, The Four Tops, The Temptations, B.B. King. The Isley Brothers, EW&F, Donny Hathaway, The Dells, Rick James, The Whispers, The Manhattans, L.T.D., Con-funk-shun, O`Brian, Atlantic Star, Switch, Luther Vandross, Michael Jackson, Ohio Players, Freddie Jackson,Mtume, Switch, Heatwave, Stevie Wonder, George Benson, Rose Royce etc etc etc. Those groups/bands existed when REAL MUSIC was being created. REEEEEAL music. If you need the definition...pick up their LP s. If you don t know what an LP is...I...I don t know how I can help you...I just...I just don t know! Hahaha. But on the real...those groups/bands influenced me in a way where I can recognize true to the ART music. So, when I was in my teens and 20 s I was able to pick the FEW from the MANY perpetrators!! ;) Don t let me forget about the music of my own generation. I came up in the late 80 s and early 90 s when rap and R&B practically merged... right before our eyes. Some of the groups and names I remember and STILL enjoy hearing to this day are New Edition, Mary J. Blige, Faith, Guy, BDP, Eric B. & Rakim, Tribe Called Quest, Toni Tone Tony, Fugees, Dr. Dre (as an artist, and producer), Wu Tang Clan, Nas, LL, De La Soul, Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth, Pharcyde, Gangstarr, EPMD, Brand Nubian, Naughty By Nature, Bones Thugs n Harmony, Das EFX, Warren G, Tha Alkaholiks, Mobb Deep, Leaders of the New School (raaaraaa like a dungeon dragon lol), Black Sheep, Nice & Smooth, Special Ed, MC Lyte, Salt n Pepa, Heavy D & The Boyz, Soul II Soul, Queen Latifah, Jeru the Damaja, Souls of Mischief, Common, Camp Lo, Lost Boyz, Arrested Development, D-Nice, Chubb Rock, Moni Love, Father MC, DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince, Lady of Rage, House of Pain, UMC s, Digable Planets, Chi-Ali, Quad City DJ s, Junior Mafia . Maaaaaaaaaaaaan... I need to STOP, lolol. I sure do wish I could push back the hands of time though about 10-11 years lolol ;) Those years were the best...
