Absolute changeless permanent reality, the Unconditioned, itself alone is, all else has always been, is, and always will be just a state of make believe fiction, a state of delusion wornlike a costume with multiple fabricated viewpoints, with each self-sustaining itself in a self-perpetuated state of self-ignorance, until each decides to come to closure through self-enlightenment and self-awakening.
Hey Black Planet! I'm a retired educator who is now based in Los Angeles. If you found this page most likely you came after reading one of my Forum posts. I am a Man of God but my idea of GOD, the Most High probably is not the same as yours and I am a political independent so I most likely have political beliefs which are different as well. I dont believe in imposing my beliefs on others and so long as mine are respected then we COOL. Over the years I have made many friends on Black Planet and outlasted many critics who no longer frequent this site. Its all Good as GOD is Good all the time and Blesses those who are Faithful to HIM with grace, mercy and His Love. I feel extremely Blessed to have survived many personal tragedies and my Heart goes out to my numerous relatives who have passed on and to the many who have were displaced as a result of Hurricane Katrina and Rita. Peace and Love to all my peeps.
Music is my passion. My favorite artists are mostly jazz musicians such as Don Cherry, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Dexter Gordon, Miles Davis and Duke Ellington. My favorite singers are Bob Marley, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross and Jesse Belvin. I also like contemporary artists such as Black Star, Dead Prez, Mariah Carey, Jill Scott, Res, Missy Elliott, and a long list of others. Major props to my friends and family at Leimert Park Village`s World Stage, particular thanks to the late/great Billy Higgins for his inspiration and early instruction in drumming, Barry Harris and the Vocal Workshop, the Cherry/Bear family (David, Eagle Eye, Don, Neneh, Titiyo, Moki),Big Lady K, DJ Kevin Lincoln, Art Terry, Mark Stewert and the Negro Problem and Johhny Edwards and the Internationals.
