Part I of Goldie Loc’s Life- Goldie is known from coast to coast for his vicious gangsta flow and major credibility in the streets. As half of the infamous group Tha Eastsidaz, Goldie is not only an artist but possess producing abilities and talents that can keep up with if not surpass the best.
Born as Keiwan Spillman January 16, 1980 in Long Beach CA, Goldie started to develop his flow at age 13 and reached regional stardom before finishing high school. He was introduced to the world by making hits with Snoop Dog during the No Limit era. Snoop had just left Death Row and California. Goldie brought Snoop back to the streets of Long Beach and back to the flowing gangsta music his fans had grown to love.
In 1999 Snoop signed Tha Eastsidaz formed with Goldie Loc and Tray Dee, this changed the hood and the music industry forever. The debut album “Snoop Dogg Presents Tha Eastsidaz” was released on February 1, 2000. The album was a hit and eventually went double Platinum. The group scooped up the “New Artist of the Year” award at the Source Awards in 2000. Tha Eastsidaz took their fans through a gangsta rap journey unseen of since the NWA era.
Goldie Loc and Tray Dee were huge within the Long Beach community because both had reputable affiliation with the Rolling 20’ Crips and the Insane Crip Gangs, known rivals on the streets. The group changed the game. The following year the second album, “Duces N Trayz: The Old Fashioned Way” was released it was certified Platinum. While making the second album Snoop Dogg left the group and Tray Dee was sentenced to prison. After that Goldie Loc took a vacation from the industry for awhile. Another project was released in 2004 “Still Eastsidin” it went Gold without promoting the album.
Part II of Goldie Loc’s Life-The new era of Goldie Loc has formed a new explosive record label. T&G Records, Executive Producer Trust, proudly presents “Goldie Loc” by Trust & Goldie Loc Entertainment; this is where Long Beach and San Diego meet. The long awaited solo album "Goldie Loc Part II" produced by Goldie Loc himself featuring songs like "Let's Bounce", “What U lookin at”, “Fireman”, and twelve more hot tracks that make the new “Goldie Loc Part II” solo album complete. Label mates include Lil T, Blocc Boss, and Tracy Lane. Also coming soon from Goldie Loc is the reality TV show "The Tow Truck Man”. T&G Records and Goldie Loc will change the music industry again, forever.
