Welcome to my page. My name is Anthony, and I'm from a burb near Chicago. I just recently joined black planet, and I really enjoy debating general topics on the board here. I'm single, goal oriented, and very busy. Typical day involves reading, working, basketball, and chat with my friends. During the winter, we switch up to football.
I don't have a thug bone in my body, and to be honest with you all, I tend to view the Hip Hop culture in a negative light. I don't like the fact that it glorifies ignorance, and it degrades both black men, and women. This doesn't mean that I'm a punk...I just prefer to use the knowledge that I've obtained from my family/school
When it comes to my hooping style, I'm a fundamentalist. Style is something I don't care about on the court. I play hard on D, I make accurate passes, and I can score from any point on the floor. The difference between my game and most others is the fact that I just do things to get the job done. My coach's in AAU/HS/College placed that work ethic into me, and I love it. In league/organized ball, I run 1-3 (2/3 my preference). On the street, I'm usually a center. (6'3 205)
Football however, is my main love. When it comes to that game, my personality is a bit different from the basketball court. I love to talk trash, but I back it up most of the time. To me, there is no better place than to be lining up behind center, getting ready to torch a secondary. Besides playing QB, I enjoy the DB position. Since I've spent a lot of my time on the offensive set, I can read the QB's mind well, and also know how to judge his eyes.
On dating, I really didn't come to this web site to find love. I'm straight, and I do love black women. I'm very laid back, and the business side in me analyzes the cost-effective side of every girl. So if your looking for a sugar daddy, that's not me. If you know me in public, and wonder why I haven't talked to you...its most likely because you haven't talked to me. I'm forward, but only if I have some sign that your interested. I typically don't like to waste my time, nor yours chasing after someone who I know has zero interest in me. I use to be an awesome boyfriend before I got my heart broken, but since then...I've been told to have a "House" attitude. In short, I challenge women. I'm not like these other guys who kiss your asses over everything you say. I typically do things that I want to do, and I give my girl a tun of freedom. When we are together, I might be cuddly, but when we are apart, I really don't give a damn what she's doing. So i'm not one of those guys that you have to check in with, or will ever be possessive. I do get jealous though, and I would hope that my mate does too.
Style wise, I'm corporate. I love to dress well, so I tend to spend a bit of green on my wardrobe. In fact, since college...I've amassed way too many clothes. I say this because I'm getting ready to do laundry! I don't dress street, I don't wear bling...except for my cross. I do dress casual, and I own jeans. I love to shop.
I enjoy playing video games, mainly with my friends. I tend to stay up to date with the video game trends, except with the new gen stuff this time around. I haven't had the heart to pull the trigger on a 600 buck system. Especially since I might not ever play it!
