I'm originally from Biloxi, MS, lived in a couple of cities in between before relocating to Charlotte, NC in 2001. I am a hard-working and ambitious career woman, but also like to have a good time when I'm not working. In terms of personality, I'm very loyal to those I let in my circle. I'm fun-loving and have a good sense of humor. On a personal level, I am single with no kids and never married. For those of you who ask why, it is NOT because I hate men or something like that. To be real, it's a combination of timing and meeting someone who truly shares the same values and interests. Because I am career orientated and ambitious, a man who holds this same work ethic is a must. I don't like to play games and if I'm really not feeling you romantically, I'm not going to waste your time or mine no matter who you are. Ideally I would like to meet someone who has similar qualities, interests and enjoys life! Even if a romance does not ensue, meeting a good friend is still a win/win. I find a man who can and loves to cook really attractive -- hey, I like to eat: If he cooks, I'll clean the mess! Physically I am more attracted to tall, athletically fit men preferably 6 feet or TALLER (not shorter than 5'10") with a nice athletic build (muscles/six pack, but not over-the-top muscle heads). More important, I love men who are straight forward with no Bulls*%t (NO DRAMA)! My pet peeves are less than honest men who are pretenders and those who magnify themselves to be something they are really not! I also find it unattractive when a man arrogantly flaunts his status...don't get me wrong, your status might be intriguing, BUT it has NOTHING to do with how you treat women; therefore, it is NOT the end-all! As a woman, I have to ask myself exactly what are you truly trying to attract and what are YOUR motives??? Just be positive, real and who you are, not just some persona. I luv music in general, so my musical tastes may be somewhat eclectic. I admit when I'm lounging I love watching TV mainly programs like Law & Order, CSI, sports (basketball and football), ESPN's PTI, 30/30 Films, Sports Center and of course reality TV (yes, it's a guilty pleasure). I love dining and patronizing different restaurants. My favorite types of food are seafood fettuccine alfredo, miso salmon, crab cakes, lobster, t-bone and porterhouse steaks and cheesecake.
