Before I go any further I just want to say "JESUS SAVES"
Matthew 5
(1)And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:
(2)And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,
(3)Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
(4)Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
(5)Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
(6)Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
(7)Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
(8)Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
(9)Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
(10)Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness` sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
(11)Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
(12)Rejoice,andbe exceeding glad: forgreat is yourreward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
(13)Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
(14)Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
(15)Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
(16)Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

WELCOME TO PHILLY.
This is one of the many papers I had to do at my Church as part of our teachings (one of my favorites)

Subject: THE HOLY GHOST
Text: Acts 1:8, Matthew 1:18-20, Acts 2:38, Isaiah 59:19, Luke 12:12, Colossians 4:6, Titus 2:8, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, 2 Corinthians 7:1, Ephesians 4:29-30
But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
(1) What is the Holy Ghost?
The third head in the trinity, also known as the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God, and Spirit of the LORD:
The Holy Ghost is a comforter, counselor, that peace that passes all understanding. When things goes wrong, and you can't seem to get upset but you don't know why, it is because of the Holy Ghost that is within you. It speaks to your spirit and keeps you with a composed attitude that even takes you by surprise.
(2) When did the Holy Ghost come?
We first here mention in the New Testament of the Holy Ghost. In (Matthew 1:18) she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. At the conception of Jesus. (Matthew 1:20) fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
Oh but when the day of pentecost was fully come, that is when God rained down fire upon man filling us with the Holy Ghost enabling our spirit to be on one accord with His spirit.
(3) Whohave the Holy Ghost?
We being the children of God were giving a very precious gift from him in (Acts 2:38) Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
By their fruit you should know them, if a person have not love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, theirs a good chance they need the Holy Ghost.
How can you say you have the Holy Ghost when you stop given just because it seems no one is ever given to you? Why were you given in the first place? Was it in the hope of receiving something in return?
How can you say you have the Holy Ghost when you can't forgive that person who you forgave eight times already for the same thing? Did Christ put a limit on how many times he will forgive you for those same things that you do?
How can you say you have the Holy Ghost? When the only time you help someone is when it will benefit you in the long run.
(4) Why do we need the Holy Ghost?
We need the Holy Ghost to keep us in a time like this. The enemy is loose and trying to demolish our very assistants. But it is through the Holy Ghost that we have the victory over and over again.
The last part of (Isaiah 59:19) Tells us when the enemy shall come in like a flood, the spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.
But we have to recognize that standard, when faced with situations that we can't handle we need to give in to the Holy Ghost when it tells us to leave it along. We must learn to trust that still small voice within.
When we become angry and want to fly off the handle. The Holy Ghost is there to teach us what to say.
(Luke 12:12) For the Holy Ghost shall teach, you in the same hour what ye ought to say.
(Colossians 4:6)
Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
(Titus 2:8)
Sound speech that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thingto say ofyou.
(5) Where is the Holy Ghost?
(I Corinthians 6:19-20)
(19)What? Know ye not that your body is the temple ofthe Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
(20) For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
Now if the Holy Ghost is in you, what type of temple do you have him living in?
Is it that filthy mess that you invited him into, or did you clean it up?
Did you clean up your %#&@$!monging, backbiting, lying tongue, wicked imaginations, drinking, swearing.
Are you one that sows discord among the brethren?
You may say, that is the purpose of the Holy Ghost to clean us up: But (II Corinthians 7:1) Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
And in closing: (Ephesians 4:29-30)
29. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that, which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
30.And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
When you`ve tried everything and everything has failed try JESUS.
