Kedrick A. McIntye is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. He is the son of Arthur McIntye and Stacey Tripp. He was educated in the Baltimore City public and Catholic school systems. Kedrick is a graduate of Frederick Douglass High School. While at Frederick Douglass, Kedrick served as the Executive Vice-President of Student Government Association. He was also a member of the Recording Arts and Media Production program, the debate team and, RAMP Records. Kedrick is a two time member of the United States Achievement Academy. Kedrick is currently pursuing his Baccalaureate of Science in Business Administration and Social Science at Coppin State University in Baltimore, Maryland. Kedrick is an advocate for education. He believes that in every area of life one should strive for Excellence. Failure should never be an option. Kedrick currently serves as Baltimore Cities' Seventh District Youth Commissioner. Kedrick lives in the Sandtown-Winchester Community and is an active member of The New Bethlehem Baptist Church under the leadership Dr. Anthony M. Chandler Sr. Kedrick is very optimistic that through his leadership he will be able to empower children and young adults and help mend a broken and misdirected community.
