A MASTERPIECE. Besides...My heart won`t let me! In terms of romantic relationships-"He that findeth a wife, findeth a good thing." -Proverbs 18:22. I believe that both man and woman CAN co-exist, develop and maintain a healthy relationship. However, it is crucially important that we determine who we are and what we want 1st. Whereas I am very independent, I also believe (whole hearted) in letting a man be a man. Thus I am as dependent as my man needs me to be. Men and women are different by nature, and I believe in acknowledging and respecting those differences. I understand that we can learn from each other, rely on each other, and still continue to build together. [Note To Reader: You cannot change anyone. If someone shows you who they are...BELIEVE THEM!! --Maya Angelou] A man's greatest accomplish is his woman, and a woman's greatest accomplish is her man. In this, we walk in our "Queen-Dom" and "King-Dom." I need my man, and my man needs me....period!! I am stimulated most by spiritual connections, positive mental energy and open communication. I am not a mind reader and neither are others, so I cannot rationally expect anyone to read my mind. I always try to say what is on my mind. Without communication, healthy relationships (both romantic and platonic) cannot exist. In lamens terms - Relationships are very important to me. I am not interested in `casual-sex` (i.e., gettin` my freak on for a one-night stand; demeaning my body for a moment of falsified pleasure and loss of my soul) - No Sex-Buddies Allowed!!! I refuse to deny myself of the `ultimate sexual gratification` and 'orgasmic highs' that accompany the mental and spiritual connections in a meaningful & spiritually healthy relationship. I am truly in touch with my sexuality, and I understand that both my mate and I deserve only the best. Simultaneously, I understand that 'our' bodies are temples and should be handled with care. If the `instant mediocre sexual satisfication` that accompanies `casual sex` is what you are in search of PLEASE "KEEP IT MOVIN" because I am not for you. I continuously tap into my innate womanly goodness despite the adversities that accompany everyday living in a world where the sistah`s, both, love themselves too little and get too little love and respect. I am whole, and I know myself (to include what I want) on every level. I try my best to walk in the 'annointing' on my life & Never do I ever look to someone else for completion. Addendum: Settling for less than I deserve is simply not an option. I am 100% "RealWoman," and True to Form!...understanding what it means to say so and be it. Ultimately, it is your decision to make regarding whether or not you will actually take the time to determine how much truth is present in the words that you read. My only request is that you ask and answer for yourself this one question....Are You Truly Ready? You can trust that I am not a fallacy of a dry reality concocted just to please you. FINAL THOUGHT: The mental degradation of "our" people has distorted our focus in a way that we seem to lose sight of what is most important. Yes the brotha's are fine, and yes, the sistah`s are sexy. But being fine and sexy will not help us overcome the obstacles in life and relationships, and money will not buy our peace of mind and strength to deal with adversities.WE MUST EMBRACE OURSELVES.You have to be "aware" and know who you are in your history, and in the history of black folks is God. Black Men: Always know that you are "Kings" by right-A right that no man of any creed or color can take away from you. You are "Kings" by your ancestry/history. A ancestry/history that no one can change. You must walk in your "Kingdom" by ANY MEANS. You must walk in your "Kingdom" for your "Queen"-who needs you to fulfill her purpose.
