Born an raised in K-Town (Kinston,NC) Godey has always had a ear for music and not just Hip Hop. He's musical roots spans across to Gospel, Jazz, Classical, R&B, Pop, Rock, Dance & Electronic. Godey was never an average listener. He would digest a musical composition ignoring the lyrics focusing only on the sounds stirring out from the instruments trying to produce those sounds with his month or any object laying around. In 2002 Godey was introduced to Cryptoknight a well know producer out of (Lil Rock, AR) while attending college in Atlanta. Cryptoknight introduced and mentored Godey into the music producer he is today. Godey's unique style of theatrics and hip hop has sparked a buzz... After moving back to NC in 2004 Yung Godey started his own record label "Dinstia La Familia Music" adding business partners "Aye Jr" & "Wally Clarke" as leading artist on the label. Godey's style is unique and fresh with commercial & industry productions. A Fresh new producer with a style like no other. A mixture of Theatrics & Film combined with Hip Hop.
