At the End of the Day

If I've learned anything in this life it's that each moment is like a note in a song. Some of those notes are sweet and sticky while others are straight-up sour or just plain wrong. We string these notes together hoping to compose a product of which we can be proud. One that we're not afraid to have others play loud. ('Cause they will play it--whether or not we okay it). So...If I can't belt out my notes at the top of my lungs or the audience can't feel me after I've sung, then I'm not really being who I'm meant to be--and I shouldn't even say that I sing R & B. If my song is not favorably melodic or my essence on this stage is not hypnotic--If I deliver my message and it sounds robotic, If you don't remember my name 'cause you say you forgot it...That simply means I've been singing bad notes, rippin' up my throat, spritually I'm broke, the world is laughing at me and I ain't tellin' jokes. I've got to re-chart this song, fix notes that don't belong, change the key of my tune and remix it real soon!

My Words of Wisdom: You can be a "producer" or a listener. Choose wisely, remembering that the producer makes things happen and the listener waits for things to be produced.
