He didn't understant until it was through,
Only now does he realize that he wasn't listening,
He was only hearing and resenting
He felt as most men do, I'm home every night,
Being home isn't what it used to be and that's not right
When they first met, there were glances exchanged,
Thoughts of one another and when would they see each other again,
He brought her flowers just because,
His glance said what his heart felt, Love
That all changed once they moved in together,
O'yeah the first few months they spent every waking moment together,
Well that was his point of view anyways,
He didn't acount her going to school, and working six days,
But now to his surprise,
His lack of understanding led to their demise,
Men let's be real, a relationship is work!
If it's work that we can't handle, let's not lead these women on,
Look at yourself, reevaluate your standards, condition yourself,
For the love, commitment, and work a relationship will bring.
OTHERwise, you are just making it hard on those who are ready,
You are also making a fool out of yourself.
