Like a perfect blend of smooth chocolate and vanilla swirl
I am born into this world an innocent baby boy
But now a man who has had a taste of reality
I am not confused like some because I know who I am
From the womb of a dove I gently came out
into her arms I was placed and cherished
She protected me from hatred and taught me love
I love my mother more than life
I stand tall like my father whose back this world was built
A black man taught me how to be mighty yet meek
My love for him is endless…he is my father
Still I am not confused because I know who I am
I am a man who loves deeply

because this man has been loved by two races
