May all who enter be blessed. WHO AM I? I`m just a down-to-earth, fun-loving kind of girl who is thoughtful and caring. I am a woman with a love of learning, traveling, and a desire to meet people who can expose me to that which is fun and unfamiliar. I am also a person who believes in treating others the way that I would like to be treated. Most importantly, I am a huge believer in the principle of "Each one, teach one" and I always hope to contribute to my community through the uplift and empowerment of my brothers and sisters - both Black and Latino. WHAT ARE SOME OF MY TURN ONS?? People who have a real zest for life, intelligence, positivity, maturity, and life purpose are very appealing to me. I also like people who have a clear spiritual foundation in their lives. A sense of humor and spontaneity is really nice as well WHAT ARE SOME OF MY TURN OFFS?? People I would rather not hear from: 1. If you are featured on your page or someone else`s page giving someone the finger, please pass on by my page. This is among one of the most ignorant and immature things I have ever seen. I,too, learned how to give people the finger and thought it was pretty cool once -- when I was about 7 years old. Also, it makes no sense to have a page on a web site like this and be rude enough to give people the finger like you don`t want them to look at your page. That is idiotic. Just don`t have a page if you are going to be rude. You might think it`s cute, but that tells me a lot about your intellect. 2. If the bulk of your vocabulary consists of "What`s good?"or "Holla," let`s not waste our mutual time. It is unlikely that I am the type of person that you would like to know. 3. If you find it necessary to send a lady notes that are vulgar and profanity-laced, please keep it moving. I am a lady first and foremost, and I expect to be treated as such at ALL times. There are some women that seem to appreciate that ignorant, disrespectful, thug mentality. I am NOT one of them. 4. If you try to showcase yourself on your page as a thug - flashing money you DON`T have or worse yet, a gun and talking about your love of material items, you are the last individual that I would wish to be associated with. Take your wanna-be 50 cent behind elsewhere. 5.This one is really one of my biggest pet peeves: If you are ignorant enough to be a color conscious Negro, you are not the kind of individual I would ever waste my precious time on. What does this mean? If you have ever uttered or written anything to the effect of "Dark girls need not apply" or "I only like redbones", then in my estimation, you are too ignorant to even live, much less converse with. In the words of Chris Rock:"They STILL make you?" Black people have enough problems without the artificial boundaries that we create with this whole "light vs. dark" nonsense. My people, let's try our best to increase the peace, and let's attempt to overcome this.

Now, that we understand the ground rules, we can all have a good time. :-)
