Greetings, BP....I am thankful for you taking the time to visit my page.

I presently work as a chef/asst manager on USC campus Mon-Fri. On select weekends, I am the piano player in a jazz group. Also, I am currently attending college (late start) to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in the culinary arts, Operations Management. My ultimate goal is to operate/own a jazz cafe, either here in Columbia, SC where I reside, or in Charlotte, NC. The school I'm attending is heavily involved with helping future business owners get a headstart if they open business in the Charlotte area, so...we'll see. My home is located in NE Columbia, SC. I am single, with no kids. I am drugfree, smokefree, dramafree, and definitely prefer staying drugfree, smokefree and dramafree. As often as possible, I tend to surround myself with supportive, and encouraging friends who make NO time for drama, and subscribe to the same belief as I regarding drugs/cigarettes. Physical and mental fitness are important to me, My body, and mind receive daily working out, A fanatic I am not, but quite truthfully, There ARE worse things to obsess over besides reading, and exercising. During my leisure time, I enjoy having fun, or relaxing. Many activities are included on my list, including: playing jazz piano, cooking, working out, bicycling, reading, playing chess, chatting online, watching movies, bowling, b-ball, swimming, comedy shows, live jazz shoes, Black plays, writing poetry, museums, aquariums, planetariums, drawing, fishing, participating in volunteering programs. Proudly, I announce that I was there to respectfully bear witness to President Obama's inauguration. It was spectacular, elated and an overall wonderful experience. It was a cold day, but my heart and essence were stoked with warm excitement. I'll never forget it. I have written a complete blog explaining who and what I seek in a woman. Suffice it to say, I'm seeking a wonderful woman who is as much for ME as I am for HER. Need to know more on this topic? I encourage you to read my blog, or just chat with me sometimes. ..

My Idea Of A Relationship............-or- What I Desire In A Woman

Simply put, I desire a woman who possesses high self-esteem, confidence,passion, and a healthy sense of humor. She should be able/willing to communicate, and recognize a GOOD man when he opens up to her.***

In a relationship (one that should have been stemmed from a beautiful friendship), I expect respect, communication and love.
