I work with alzheimer and dementia residents` as a living. The pictures at the bottom are of some residents` and of my boss and I, when we threw them a party. Believe it or not, they know if you sincerely enjoy what you are doing or if it is just a job. They look at me for some of the things I do or give them; and often say to me, "but I have nothing to give you and I tell them, you just gave me something I will always cherish." They ask me what it was and I tell them it was the smile on their face.
I am a one man woman; a very sweet lady that glows from the inside in which makes me different than most of the women on here. You could meet the most beautiful person on the outside, but yet they are ugly on the inside where it counts, they are stuck on themselves and have no personality.
I guess you may say I am a little old fashioned; because, I love being in a committed relationship and to make my man happy. I am looking for just one good man who is looking for the same thing as I. Look, we are not getting younger, don`t you want a good lady who treats you as a king, the only man in her life, one who will shower you with so much love and let you know you are the only man in her life? I love doing the simplist of things for him, surprising him with little notes and poems of mine when he comes home that I let lie around the house giving him clues as to where to find the next note and at the end, if he is clever enough; he will find the prize. (I promise I won`t make it too hard; finding the greatest gift of all silly, what were you thinking?) *wink* I love preparing his favorite meal, setting the mood for a romantic evening and having dessert much later. I love to cuddle, to be romanced and candles. To me there is a difference between loving someone and being in love, just as there is a difference between having sex and making love. Having sex to me is EMPTY, but to make love to that special someone is like an artist when he paints on his canvas and YOU must paint the picture. I am not afraid to show my affection as I am a touchy feely person. If you are looking for one good lady who will devote all her attention to just you, who looks forward to you coming home, one whom just glows from the sight of you that she is so radiant on the inside; then you have just stopped at the right profile. I despise plastic people; people who try to be somebody they aren`t. I think the mind is alot like a parachute, it works so much better if it is open. I get high on LIFE.... Remember,whatever happens; happens for a reason, life is not measured by how many breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away. I change my poetry from time to time, wanting you to see the loving, inspirational lady that I am; wanting to reach out to just one person, making them think about what I say, hopeing that they stop and think, "you know I never looked at life the way she does." Life is too short gentleman, so if you are really looking for a good lady who will dedicate the rest of our lives to only YOU and make you feel like the KING of your castle, you need to make your move. Today is a gift, that is why we call it the "present". Any of my poetry that I put on this site is what I am looking for and hope to find a gentleman that is willing to be a participant; but please don`t misinterpret it, as I am not looking for a one night stand or a fling. If you have children, that is just fine as I love and adore children. If you are looking for the greatest gift of all and you possess sleuthful qualities, you can locate me utilizing your prodigious foraging skills.

Build on Dreams-a fictional story

Yesterday I talked to a young man who is a wonderful fellow and a good friend. Last year his marriage ended in divorce and the changes are hurting him and his family very deeply.

"I hope this year will be the happiest year of your life," I said to him. Tears came to his eyes as I continued, "Build on your dreams, don`t build on your hurts!"

Too many people are building their future on hurts. They make rash decisions in the midst of turmoil-decisions they will probably regret when the dust settles. You don`t construct a building unless you first lay a solid foundation and you don`t build a prosperous life unless your crucial decisions are made from strength. Don`t build your future on your hurts, build on your hopes and dreams.

In This Sea Of Ecstacy

I`m sitting here
thinking about you
like I do every day.
I`m trying to concentrate,
but these fantasies of you,
hold me at bay.
I`m imagining how great
it would be if you
gave yourself to me.
I vow that I would willingly drown
in this sea of ecstacy.
I can feel your body
pressed into mine,
caught in a tempest of fire,
enraptured by true love
that`s so divine.

easy-going,

children,

the moonlight, and

and cares about others,
someone who`s willing to
