My fellow New Jerseyans, we are living in alarming economic times. Yet rather than feeling fearful, I am inspired by our collective courage and proud of how we have responded to the challenge. As a result of our foresight not only have we made tough choices, we have made the right choices. Difficult though some of those decisions have been, it is due to our wise actions that our state today is suffering less than most. Due to our careful planning and the right set of priorities, we have not been forced to raise taxes on the middle class or attempt to balance the budget on the backs of working people, and when the inevitable economic recovery comes, it is New Jersey that will lead the way to better times. recent blog posts

Actor Harry Lennix of "The Matrix" and "The Five Heartbeats" fame, visited Barber Shops across Essex County this afternoon campaigning for Governor Jon Corzine. This weekend in every county, community, and corner of New Jersey, Democrats, Independents and yes, even some Republicans are mobilizing into action. Beginning on Friday the campaign took a break from campaigning.
