I went to Iraq(2004-2005) served my country well and thanks to all the blessings and support I returned home a Veteran who has seen more than he ever wanted to..... as for my fallen comrades ..they will never be forgotten by me or the rest of 2nd PLT and im sure by all who knew them .......

My names Lamar and im just one good man dats all i can be right...




ya know its funny how people never realize what they had till its gone but what they say is true be careful what you do cuz KARMA comes back around lol anyway sometimes I tend to digress a lil but let me get to the facts:



~I`ll be 28 on June 27th I'm a cancer

~I graduated high school in 2001 so that chapter has long been done

~I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps to help get through college and all....

~I finished that up in 2007 and I attended college at Virginia Tech majoring in History with a minor in Africana Studies and graduated May 2008


~I should have graduating in 05 or 06 but the military had me behind a couple of semesters/years lol so but its all good I`ve seen foreign lands both good and bad








I`m from the cap city RICHMOND for yall that dont know

Im laid back and down to earth just like to have fun and chill with my peoples ya know

Love vs Infactuation

Have you ever loved someone who didnt love you back??? You try all that you can next to dying for them to show them how you feel but it seems as if nothin works... You try to let go but your heart wont let you .... Where do you go from there or what do you do????? Do you just give up knowing that you could be missing out on your onetrue soulmate or do you continue to fight and remain a presence in their life ..... Wheres the line drawn between Loving someone and Liking someone or could you just be mistaken about the whole thing...

Is it Love or just simply Infactuation???

My heart says its love while my mind wonders if its nothing more than Infactuation........

Which is it ?????

Why did You make me someone the world wants to hold back?

Black is the color of dirty clothes; The color of grimy hands

and feet. Blackis the color of darkness; The color of tire-beaten

Black is the end of the day. Lord, You know, my own people mistreat

me; And I know this isn`t right. They don`t like my hair or

the way I look. They say I`m too dark or too darn light.

Lord, don`tYou think it`s time for You to makea change?

Why don`t You redo creation and make everyone the same?

rich, darkearth that grows the food you need. Your color`s

the same as the panther`s, Knownfor her beauty and speed.

Your color`s the same as the Black Stallion, a majestic animal

is he. No! I didn`t make you in the Imageof darkness,

All the colors of a Heavenly Rainbow can be found throughout

every nation; And when all those colors were blended well,

YOU BECAME MY GREATEST CREATION!

Your hair is the texture of lamb`s wool; Such a humble, little

creatureishe. I am the Shepherd who watches them.

I amthe One who will watch over thee. You are the color

of midnight skies,Iput the stars` glitter in your eyes.

There`s a smile hidden behind your pain. That`s the reason your

cheeks are so high. You are the color of dark clouds formed

during my strongest winters in December. I made your

lips full so when you kiss the one you love... they`ll remember.

Your stare is strong; your bone structure, thick... to withstand

the burdens of time. The reflection you see in the mirror...

A GOOD MAN???



You say you want a GOOD MAN, and when it comes to finding one you won`t. Because when it comes to really wanting one, ladies you don`t!



You say you want a GOOD MAN, one that will always give you hugs. But

every time I turn around to embrace you, you`re always chasing after

thugs.



You say you want a GOOD MAN; well I`m here to tell you that`s not true. Because the last one that came your way, wasn`t all enough for you.



You say you want a GOOD MAN, cause you`re tired of trifling mess. But you rolled your eyes at the last one, simply because you didn`t like the way he dressed.



You say you want a GOOD MAN, one that will have you for his wife.

Yet every time you comeacross one, you say he`s just too nice.



You say you want a GOODMAN, now I`m not saying you should make him beg. But a brother should at least know your first and last name before you open up your legs.



See if you try that with a GOOD MAN, in you he won`t be pleased. For he realized, just like he could have, other brothers have had you with ease.



Now in order to get a GOOD MAN, you need to listen - see it`s in your favor. Starting with the fact that no GOOD MAN wants a woman who curses like a sailor.



And in your quest to find a GOOD MAN, listen as if it`s Law. You`ll neverfind a GOOD MAN, if you always label him as a dog.



See a GOOD MAN wants a woman that expects to receive his best.

But you will neverever find one, if you keep settling for less.



Now if you`ve found a GOOD MAN, which you think might be right for you. You`ll know he`s not a GOOD MAN, if he won`t go to church with you.



For in the life of a GOOD MAN, you`re not first, but don`t take it hard. See you`re standing right there next to him, but you`re second after GOD.



So if you still would like a GOOD MAN one that will make you a real good wife. There`s only one thing left for you to do and that`s simply become a GOOD WOMAN.
