When i have a problem I hold it in and listen, because i know that you need someone to listen to yours. When you need me I am always by your side, to care for you and dress your wounds. I have offered you all of me and yet I sit idly by, waiting for you to give something back , to do anything that will show that you care for me in return. Some say the greatest pain in life is being ignored. No it`s not. I take yet another step away, close yet another door, the coldness of my shoulders-and yours is yet becoming more. There are no longer kind words there is no open addressing. The care that we once knew no longer needs confessing. We used to face each other on the bridge inside the wall now it`s desolate and empty. it`s begun to crack and fall. there is a constant dripping yet tears go unshed. A puddle gathers at my feet. My heart has been torn apart. You have a beautiful rose, instead you want an average flower. I think of what I should have said and what I should have done to express myself with the clarity of my feelings and I see there`s nothing left for me to do. One day will come when the realizations of truth will overcome the veil of doubt and the misfortune of lost chances will be yours. While the hours together draw to a close and your fleeting wave will be all I have left in a special section of memory shall last throughout all eternity. The greatest pain is not being ignored. The greatest pain in life is telling the person you truly love goodbye>
it hurts to love someone and not be loved in return, but what is more painful is to love someone and never find the the courage to let that person know how you feel. Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person, will know how to be grateful for that gift. the best kind of friend is the kind you can sit ona porch andswing with, never say a word, and than walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you`ve ever had......
