39 year old Public Relations Professional, Entrepreneur and Speaker is a native of Hampton, VA. Educated in Newport News and Hampton Public School Systems. Graduated from Bethel High School, Hampton, VA. Attended Virginia Union University, Norfolk State University, Old Dominion University, Virginia Commonwealth University and GA Tech. She is an ordained and licensed Minister. In 1992 she founded Rita’s Resumes and More and in 1994 founded Onyx Mirror Jewelry with her brother and sister. In 2003 she co-founded Angels of Light Christian Church (Stone Mountain, GA) and founded Elite National which included three businesses; Elite National Home Placement Service – Realty, Elite National Corporate Gifts and Elite National Career Placement (Atlanta & VA). Later in 2003 Curtis decided to merge all of her businesses under one conglomerate; The Curtis Group, Inc. (Newport News, VA). The Curtis Group currently focuses on Public Relations and Marketing for Small Business owners. Curtis plans to eventually sell The Curtis Group and focus on her ministry and book writing. She is the Founder and current Host of Life Connections Ministries and Devotional Show and is slated to release her first book in August of 2010. She enjoys stock trading, reading, travelling, attending pro football and basketball games, game shows and video games.
