Hello Blackplanet family and welcome to my page. I have not been able to actually come and update my page for awhile since I have been busy working, being a mom, attaining one of my goals (which was to publish my first book, Lisandra's Footprints!!! Also look for my next two books, Barely Under Water and Lisandra's Footprints II, they will be out soon!!!)and taking care of myself for a change.lol I'm a Language Arts and Social Studies teachers here in my hometown of Jersey City and I never thought that God would allow me to be a part of teaching and building young children's lives. I really love my job and am thankful for this rewarding opportunity. I'm happily singled, not saying that I want to be alone for the rest of my life, just saying that I'm happy whether I'm with a significant other or not.That is a great revelation since you have those who feel that they are not happy nor fulfilled unless they are with someone. You must love and be content with yourself before you are able to love someone else. My daughters displayed the love I must have for myself by having unconditional love for me. Of course I love them unconditionally as well; but to actually realize it even when you make mistakes that love is still there.
