But there are valid words in the saying. I each individual person took respnsibllty for their actions and attempted to live their life as close to how they SHOULD be - there would be far fewer problems. Parents would be practicing good parenting, employers would treat workers far better, children would have better role models from home and elsewhere. Video games and music videos would no longer be the status quo for the X-Generation. Such would decrease the violence tolerance that has rising way too high. And as much as many enjoy Wrestling Mania and Extreme Fighting both have also greatly increased the over a tolerance for violence that is also affecting us. Of course there are the cultural norms pulling at the increased negativity too. "Ferris Burlers Day Off" while humorous it also causes youth to see educators as simpletons and baffons. Not a good way to make kids want to earn. Many may wonder what IS she rambling about now. Example, denzel won his Oscar for his role in "Training Day" NOT "Malcom X". Both performances were good. His portrayal of Malcom was so dead-on the viewer actually did a double-take seeing him on the screen! He looked and sounded so much like our fallen leader, Malcom. That was no easy task. But he did NOT get the award for the better performance. No that award was given or his portrayal of a dirty AND unscrupulous cop in "Training Day". Meaning; the things our culture chooses to reward also affects how generations behave. Everything can be part of an overall problem or solution depending on how we choose.
