So I heard there were some good brothers on here, I thought I would check it out, Insha Allah.. I'm a single Mom,and a laid back sister, who's pretty easy going. I practice Sunni and am always wanting to gain knowledge in the deen Insha Allah.. Ok, so I been thinking about this a lot lately now that the weather is getting nicer and there's so much to do for pass time outside the home. This is just a fairy tail list. If I could have the perfect man for me. I don't know what my future husband is going to look like, But I picture him 6' and chocolate ;) Cuz I have that sweet tooth for chocolate. Here's a list of traits I'm looking for in a future husband. -Prefers he drives, I like to sit passenger style while he drives. -Sings me lil love songs to wake me up or as he rubs my forehead while i lay in his lap -Will make my coffee for me if he were to wake before me -Taller than me I'm 5'10 ( negotiable ) -Cute, doesn't have to be drop dead gorgeous just cute. -Can read my mind, I'm pretty easy to read once u know me. But I would like for him to be able to look at me an know what I'm thinkin when I sit there quietly. - Humble and down-to-earth - Not egotistical - Sincere - Loyal/won't stray - has principles/has integrity - Is naturally curious - Romantic - Loving - Kind-considerate for my needs -Sensitive, but not to sensitive-wants to do things as a family-will love my children as if they were his and put their needs before ours-Can stand up for himself -Protect and Maintain his family as his flock That's all I can think of at the moment but I'm sure I'll think of more...lol ... Lets throw some keywords in here, insha Allah someone will do a search an look for these.. Allah Islam Qur'an Sunni The Book of Marriage (Kitab Al-Nikah) Muslim :: Book 8 : Hadith 3231 'Alqama reported: While I was walking with 'Abdullah at Mina, 'Uthman happened to meet him. He stopped there and began to talk with him. Uthman said to him: Abu 'Abd al-Rahman, should we not marry you to a young girl who may recall to you some of the past of your bygone days; thereupon he said: If you say so, Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: 0 young men, those among you who can support a wife should marry, for it restrains eyes from casting (evil glances). and preserves one from immorality; but those who cannot should devote themselves to fasting for it is a means of controlling sexual desire. friends (64) |
