I am self-admittedly the most imperfect person you'll ever know...with a heart that's as much a flaw as an asset. Proceed with caution ! So...to make this as painless as possible, I'll give y'all the quick rundown. If you picked up on the "y'all," you've also figured out that I'm not a Chicagoan. I am a DALLAS chick with Chi Town roots. I'm originally from Chicago and lived there a couple of years ago as well. Most of my family is still in Chicago, so I do visit from time to time. Why am I on a Chicago page? Because I love Chicago! (Minus the snow) LOL I just love the level of conversation that I had with some of y'all. I love someone who can put together a complete sentence without using "da" or "wit." Don't get me wrong, I have a little hood in me by way of genetics, but I try to keep it on reserve on Monday's, Wednesday's, and at least 2 Friday's of each month. Now don't get it twisted, I've been known to break out my Ebonics manual on a Tuesday too. It just depends on the situation, so don't test me. So...about me... I'm a young 32 years old. 5'1 1/2" so I'm a shorty. Not the "baddest chick" on the planet, but I can hold my on. lol Why am I here?Good question. I'm really just networking. I like meeting people because we have so much to offer if we just put our heads together. The prerequisite is that you have to have a sense of humor. I love to laugh. Just be yourself because there's beauty in everyone. I have 2 boys, ages 8 and 12. Texas is a football state, so you know I love to watch the boys on the field. My oldest son also raps, which is fun for me because I love music and I love to see how the love of it has been passed on to him. We have a good time with it though. We'll get in the car, pop in an instrument and freestyle. LOL Am I any good? Um...I can rhyme and sometimes I might even make a little sense. LOL But it's cool. I just love a challenge and plus it's good for a nice little laugh.
