personal message

So I realized my page message was too long..So in a nutshell here's what I want to say. Please have a college degree and do something with your degree. Now I know that not everyone can afford college, but if you don't have a college degree please be doing something in your life. Here are some of my rules to live by that I learned from older people: Normally I'd say no guys with kids...but I'll be your friend..but most likely..that's all it will be. Accepting you into my life means accepting 3 people. You. Your child. And your baby mama. And at 20 thats not what I want. Never ever settle ever. My dad insisted that it's better to wait around for something great than to waste your time with cheap crap! My father was very adamant about me never being with a guy who didn't respect women. He also can't stand the word b*tch, since it's degrading. This has opened up my eyes to the kind of guys who use the term: Even when guys use it jokingly, it shows a lack of respect, and I now avoid these men. If a guy says that he needs a woman who is more interested in him. Like calling him more, than you need to drop him. It's ok to call him, but if he wants YOU to call him every day and he hardly calls you..he's just lazy and not worth your time. Make him work for it. If a guy offers to show you the view from his apartment or his incredible fish tank, there likely isn't either. He also instilled in me that I shouldn't waste my time on someone who doesn't open the door for me or offer to pay on the first date. AND THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE I'VE GOTTEN FROM MY DAD..AND GRANDMA: ALWAYS make sure that I always have money in my pocket when I'm going on a date. He's old-school and believes in a woman being treated like a queen and expects nothing short of that for his daughters. But for those times when you can't stand to stay out with a dud any longer, he says you have to be able to pay for your meal and a cab ride if you need it so you can escape. I like to read. I'm in college. So you need to understand that school comes first. My goal is to graduate from school and get my B.A., I want you(the reader) to be honest. There is nothing worse than a liar. I'm fun loving. I don't cut cards with anyone. I'm open to friendships. I'm not neccessarily looking for a relationship but if one happens I won't be opposed to it. One last word of advice: Don't be childish. If you say you're going to do something than do it.
