As the President & CEO of Icon Management Inc., Kimberly N. Holland represents a group of elite Track & Field stars. She is an anomaly in sports today with a track record that is impressive and promises to grow beyond measure. However, six years ago, no one, not even Kimberly could foresee a career as a Sports Agent for world-class athletes. A Washington DC native, Kimberly earned a Bachelor degree in Political Science at Norfolk State University. Upon graduation she joined the staff of Senator Edward M. Kennedy as a Legislative Foreign Policy Aide on Capitol Hill.

In 1994 she moved to Atlanta for a career in Concert Promotions with Haymon Entertainment. After which she joined the staff at LaFace Records working as a Paralegal in the Business and Legal Affairs division, before returning to school to earn a Juris Doctorate at Regent University School of Law. During her final year in law school, Kimberly was approached by Olympic Medalist, Terrence Trammell to help manage his career. As word of her skills grew, she then signed other Olympians including Shawn Crawford, Bernard Williams and Icon Management Inc. was born.

Kimberly has been featured in a number of publications that include Ebony, Atlanta Tribune, Sister 2 Sister, Uptown Magazine, USA Today, and the Washington Post. She is also a highly sought after legal and sports expert, who has spoken on panels that include BESLA, University of Virginia School of Law, Howard University, and North Carolina Central University School of Law among others.

Today, Kimberly is still rising to the top of her game representing the very best of the Track & Field sport. With plans to grow her company by adding divisions to include the NFL, NBA and other sports representation, Kimberly is well on her way to becoming an Icon in her own right.

Icon Management Inc., in the words of its founder and CEO Kimberly N. Holland JD, is a sports agency that is simply "something different." A rarity, Holland is at the helm of the enterprise as the only African American female to have achieved her level of success in the male dominated industry. Icon is a place where athletes find much needed assurance - personally and professionally. At Icon we focus on what's in our athlete's best interest. We strive to build relationships that will enhance our client's careers both on and off the field.

Founded on principals that support its athletes year round, Icon's unique management style maintains a steadfast goal of raising the bar for track & field athletes. The company also takes a holistic approach in dealing with each of its clients that emphasizes the concept of "person first, athlete second". This philosophy has paid off well both on and off the field with Icon delivering multimillion dollars athletic sponsorships and high-profile media and modeling placements, in addition to other non-traditional business opportunities for its clients. Icon is also committed to supporting initiatives that provides platforms for other women looking to begin careers in sports management. "I think people were intrigued that I am woman," Holland offers of her humble and frequently disparaged beginnings. "No one had ever seen a woman managing athletes before, so my presence sparked a lot of conversation."

Icon is dedicated to developing "the whole package" for its clients with integrated programs that focus on each athlete's immediate training as well as post career goals. The company's newly created Life Skills Division provides Icon athletes with winning strategies both on and off the field. "I sincerely believe that I can make a positive impact in my client's lives," Holland says. "By providing resources that add value to their everyday lives, we are supporting them to deliver their best work when they're out on the field."

I am trying to raise funds so that I can provide monetary donations to the children's in my neighborhood for making good grades, but thats not all, I also want to provide monetary donations to the chidren's that don't pass, but don't run off yet. There will be one requirement that they must meet in order for them to receive their funds. They are going to have to provide a complete test with all the questions answered (no blanks) and the answer must pertain to the subject.

I am asking that you make a contribution to our black community by buying one of my fantastic Continuing Education products.
