I personally want to thank everyone who visits my page! My name is Khari (pronounced Kah-REE).

I'm a poet, spoken word artist, music producer and published author from Oakland, California. I've performed at hundreds of open mic venues throughout the country, sold thousands of CDs and books and now I'm positioning myself to become the premier spoken word artist in the country! I'm here on Black Planet to promote my poetry, network and make some new friends and fans.



In 2007, I released a highly successful spoken word mixtape "The Soul of a Poet." The CD contains 27 tracks of spoken word over R&B, Neo-Soul and Hip Hop Beats and has sold out! No more copies are available!

My new album "VICTORY" will be released on December 15th, 2009! This will be one of the best albums you've ever heard! Spoken word poetry over all original music and beats produced by some of the most talented musicians in the industry!
