CASH CAMP, the four-man pheonom from Atlanta Ga.that is responsible for a new genre of Hip-Hop called "Crank Music". Cash Camp consist Lil Playboy, Young Jit, Yella Boy Trent, and Lil Lite, whom which are all family. Lil Lite and Young Jit are the cousins of the two blood brothers Lil Playbaoy and Yella Boy Trent. Each member is from, Atlanta Ga., a city which is not new to raw talent and has provided the music industry some of its brightest stars. Cash Camp credits their family's ties as the sole gel of the group. All years combined, the members of Cash Camp have been dancing and rapping for over 15 years. Cash Camp has been inspired by many of today's elite artist citing: Lil Wayne, TI, Young Jeezy, Crime Mob as well as some hip hop icons such as Tupac and Biggie as just a few of those inspire their drive. In 2007 the group members decided to tape their dance moves and upload their video to You Tube, the world then began to take notice. The video became an instant hit on You Tube, eventually becoming one of the most viewed videos on the net today with over 20 million viewers. Those very dance steps became the format and image of Soul Boy's hit "Crank Dat Soulja Boy" which was propelled to numbers status leading to Soulja Boy signing with Interscope Records. Realizing Cash Camp was very instrumental in his success he returned the favor by allowing Cash Camp to tour with him. Thus, allowing Cash Camp to receive the same national exposure. Cash Camp has appeared and performed on BET, MTV, MTV2, and various local television circuits. The exposure and experience prompted Cash Camp to use the same marketing techniques for their own music and movement. The Camp went hard to work in the studio, creating their own sound, making sure not to be mistaken as just a novelty spin off group. Staying consistent with their theme of "Crank Music" and their signature card shirts baring an ace of every suit, Cash Camp created the smash hit called "Crank Dat Yank" which was produced by Lil A. As with Soulja Boy's hit, "Crank Dat Yank" immediately shot to the top resulting in top ten charting on You Tube and Myspace. With their untitled debut album currently in the works, cash camp is destined to be one of the next major hip-hop acts to add the city of Atlanta's long running dominance of the music business. Beware the Camp is geared to cash in. t thas not gonna be hard for u ladies.
