I am a publicist at a major publishing house.--a job that I enjoy doing though it is only one step towards my goal of becoming a full time writer. I would best describe my work as creative non-fiction. I am also trying my hand at screenwriting and am open to making friends who are knowledgable in this area. I spent quite a few years teaching adolescents--especially those in pain due to abandonment, disease, violence, self hatred. I could write a book on that experience alone. Olofi saw that it was time for a change and am now doing something that I love. I know that my work with children is far from over; I will work with them again but perhaps in a less formal classroom setting. I am letting Spirit guide me to where I need to be. I also manage a Haitian Folklore Dance Company--"Choucoune." I love my Haitian heritage and look for any opportunities to share the dance, song, and drum of my people.
