Through me let there be kind words,
a warm smile, and a caring heart.
Through me let there be a willingness to listen
and a readiness to understand.
Through me let there be dependability,
steadfastness, trust and loyalty.
Through me let there be compassion,
forgiveness, mercy and love.
Through me let there be every quality I find,
O Lord, in thee.

If there is a future there is time for mending-
Time to see your troubles coming to an ending.

Life is never hopeless however great your sorrow-
If you're looking forward to a new tomorrow.

If there is time for wishing then there is time for hoping- When through doubt and darkness you are blindly groping.

Though the heart be heavy and hurt you may be feeling-
If there is time for praying there is time for healing.

We wouldn't enjoy the sunshine
if we never had the rain.
We wouldn't appreciate good health
if we never had experienced pain.
If we never shed a teardrop
and always wore a smile.
we'd all get tired of laughing
after we had grinned awhile.
Everything is by comparison-
both the bitter and the sweet-
And it takes a bit of both of them
to make our lives complete.

the Joy of life is living it and doing things of worth, in making bright and fruitful all the barren spots of earth.
In facing odds and mastering them and rising from defeat and making true what once was false, and what has bitter, sweet.
For only he knows perfectly joy whose little bit of soil is richer ground than what it was when he began to toil.

I cannot thank you Lord enough For all you've done for me,
For food and shelter, and for love Of friends and family.
In time of sorrow you stood by And held my trembling hand,
You wiped the tear drops from my eyes And help me to understand.
Although i cannot ever know what the future has in store,
Your love will always see me through,
