I start in the Paramedic Academy in January.

This is my Ambulance...
There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My Ambulance is my best friend.
Its is my life.
I must master it as I master my life.
Without me, my Ambulance is useless,
Without my Ambulance I am useless.
I must drive my Ambulance true.
I must drive my Ambulance straighter than the public who is trying to kill me.
I must avoid him before he crashes into me. "I WILL"
My Ambulance is human, even as I, because it is my life.
Thus I will learn it as a brother.
I will learn its weaknesses, its strengths, its parts, its wheels, its hub caps, and 12 lead E.C.G.
I will keep my Ambulance clean and Make Ready, even as I am clean and Make Ready.
We will become part of each other.
