WHO can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies.
THE heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
SHE will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
SHE seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
SHE is like the merchants` ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
SHE riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
SHE considerth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
SHE girdeth her loins with strengh, and strengtheneth her arms.
SHE preceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
SHE layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
SHE stretcheth out her hands to the poor: yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
SHE is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
SHE maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
HER husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
SHE maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchants.
STRENGTH and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
SHE openeth her mouth with wisdon; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
SHE looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
HER children arise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
MANY daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
FAVOR is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.
GIVE her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

A VIRTUOUS WOMAN by: Eva Marie Stover What is a virtuous woman? A description you seek. She`s a woman, designed by God, mild mannered and meek. A woman whose children arise and call blessed, who welcomes all strangers and treats them as guests. A woman who plans for her household by night, then trusts in the Lord with all of her might. A woman who cares for her home and family, who refrains from gossip and speaking idly. Her husband, well known, within the city`s gate, publicly, praises God for his godly mate. She`s a blessing to all and in all her ways, plants her trust in the Lord, Whose Voice she obeys. She teaches her children God`s laws and commands, and daily entrusts them into His strong, loving hands, "What is a virtuous woman", you ask? She`s a God fearing woman who`s been blessed with a task. Proverbs 31:1-31 A REAL WOMAN:
RELEVANT - Has significant bearings upon all that matters in her life. Proverbs 31:10
EXPECTANT - Always looking forward to abundant, great, and mighty things for her life. Proverbs 31:25
AWARE - Watchful over the affairs of her life. Proverbs 31:27
LIVING - Active, functioning, full of life and vigor; passionate and alive. Proverbs 31:14

WISE - Marked by deep understanding and has keen desernment and a capacity for sound judgement. Proverbs 31:31
OPEN - Readily accessible with a generous attitude; generous in giving, willing to hear and consider or accept the issues of her world and life. Proverbs 31:20
MOTIVATED - Stimulated by internal goals and standards of excellence that move her forward to action. Proverbs 31:21
ACTIVE - Characterized by action rather than contemplation and speculation. Proverbs 31:13
NEVER-ENDING - Keeps going and going until everything that is in her heart is accomplished. Proverbs 31:29
