Born in the state of New York, Dane DeNiro Jones has always had the God given talent to write, create, and produce music. Aside from his other various talents and skills, making music has always been a passion for him all of his life. Being an all around artist he is able to write almost any type of song dealing with any type of subject matter. He has always had numerous influences around him that inspire him to create songs having to do more with the social, and economic state of the minority peoples of this country and the experiences of different cultures and nations around the world.

Coming from a neighborhood where drug dealing, drug abuse, and violence is an everyday way of life, Dane has always sought out the many ways in which he can use his talents to help people in all walks of life realize the state of those who are at the lowest level of the American social class system. A system in which a persons social class is clearly dictated by their family history and stability, place of upbringing, financial status, criminal background, level and quality of education etc. His major ambition is to help the youth of his generation come to the realization that to positively work together towards one common goal is the only approach we can use in order to change the state of our communities, and the mental state of others around us.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

I write about all aspects of life, my experiences as well as other people's experiences. Love, hope, faith, hate, death, turmoil and religion have all been topics of my songwriting. Including many others!! I just recently relocated out of the hood to get away from the vast negativity of the community where I was raised. I've seen so many of my peers become stuck in the lifestyle that I was living and when I started to feel stuck I knew I had to change my environment in order to progress further with my dreams and aspirations, but I will never forget where I came from...I love my hood for what it made me!!! I also had the opportunity to travel all around the east coast in my teenage years which helped me to meet a lot of people and experience a lot of things that most of my peers probably never will. So, now I see my upbringing and past experiences as a blessing because it made me who I am and helped to put me on the road to who I want to be.
