Salutations, Blackplanet...
First and foremost, thank you for checking out my page...and I pray that all is well with you and yours...Secondly, I am here primarily for networking and intelligent friendships. It is not my intention to offend anyone, but if you are on a stagnant level and you have no desire to elevate then I am not the sister you should be talking to. I don't care for ignorance, stupidity or hot-ghetto-mess mentalities. Men: if you are just looking for some %#&@$!, keep searching. I am sure that there are plenty of women here who have a minimal amount of self respect that will cater to your needs. Women: I am a Queen who is disappointed and disgusted in dealing with females who are insecure, full of envy, and those who have made it their sole purpose in life to be promiscuous. Keep all the drama to yourselves. Everyone: Do you know your HIV status? Educate yourselves and get checked! The statistics in our communities are horrendous; and we got people on youtube bragging about how many people they have infected. I am HIV free and intend on staying that way. Can you honestly say the same?
Just so that you know a little about me, I was born in Brooklyn, raised in Queens, attended college in the Bronx & Manahattan, and visited Staten Island on occasion. I am a New Yorker at heart, so come correct or not at all. My loves are God first and foremost, my children, reading (the Bible, African & African American history, The Secret, O. Butler, A. Walker, C. G. Woodson, Shakespeare, C. West, etc...), writing novels & poetry, dancing, science (biology & geology), etymology, homeschooling, automotive mechanics (yes, I can do brakes, change oil & a lot more), antique cars & hot rods from the 1920's, 30's & 40's, softball, volleyball, hiking, bicycling, going to the theatre, ballet & opera, playing board games, learning to speak in different languages & dialects, & shopping. If you still insist on writing me, I prefer educated exchanges of verniculars, learning and listening...teaching and being taught...each one teach one. Like most professionals I am busy, but I do check my page periodically. I am just a God fearing student of life striving to improve and maintain on a daily basis.On that note, I will leave you with one of my favorite scriptures...Be Blessed.
2 Peter 1:2-15
2 Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. 3 His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7 and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. 8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins. 10 Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall, 11 and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

12 So I will always remind you of these things, even though you know them and are firmly established in the truth you now have. 13 I think it is right to refresh your memory as long as I live in the tent of this body, 14 because I know that I will soon put it aside, as our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me. 15 And I will make every effort to see that after my departure you will always be able to remember these things.
