You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your
hatefulness,
But still, like air, I`ll rise.
Maya Angelou

Challenges come so we can grow and be prepared
for the things we are not equipped to handle now.
When we face our challenges with faith,
prepared to learn, willing to make changes,
and if necessary, to let go, we are demanding
our power be turned on.

I love you too much to expect you to change
I love me too much to settle for who you are
Never allow someone to be your Priority while
allowing yourself to be their Option
We must adjust to changing times and still hold to unchanging principles.
Jimmy Carter
No one is useless in this world who
lightens the burdens of another
Charles Dickens
We make a living by what we get,
We make a life by what we give
Winston Churchill
Sometimes the Lord rides out the storm with us and other times He calms the restless sea around us. Most of all, He calms the storm inside us in our deepest inner soul. -Lloyd John Ogilvie
What makes me weak? My fears
What makes me whole? My God
What keeps me standing? My faith
What makes me compassionate? My selflessness
What makes me honest? My integrity
What sustains my mind? My quest for knowledge
What teaches me all lessons? My mistakes
What lift`s my head high? My pride
What if I can`t go on? Not an option
What makes me victorious? My courage to climb
What makes me competent? My confidence
What makes me sensual? My insatiable essence
What makes me beautiful? My everything
What makes me a woman? My heart
Who says I need love? I do
What empowers me? My God & Me
Who am I?
I AM AN AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMAN!

I am a very kind person with a caring heart full of compassion.
I love the Lord with all my heart.
I enjoy walk`s on
the beach, watching the sunset.I enjoy
the theater, going to the park,
gospel music. The Lakers are the best.
I can sit back relax and just listen to some nice jazz by
candle light.
I Love to cuddle.

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You
shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
And their righteousness is from
me Says the Lord.
Isaiah 54:17
If God can bring blessing from the broken body of Jesus
and glory from something that's as obscene as the cross,
He can bring blessing from my problems and my pain and my unanswered prayer.
I just have to trust Him.
-Anne Graham Lotz
Everyone Can't Be in Your Front Row
Life is a theater - invite your audience carefully.
Not everyone is
spiritually healthy and mature enough to have a front
row seat in our
lives. There are some people in your life that need to
be loved from a
distance.
It's amazing what you can accomplish when you let go,
or at least
minimize your time with draining negative,
incompatible,
not-going-anywhere
relationships/friendships/fell owships!
Observe the relationships around you. Pay attention
to: Which ones lift
and which ones lean? Which ones encourage and which
ones discourage?
Which ones are on a path of growth uphill and which
ones are going
downhill?
When a Christian shuns fellowship with other Christians, the devil smiles. When he stops studying the Bible, the devil laughs.
When he stops praying, the devil shouts for joy.
Corrie Ten Boom
When you leave certain people, do you feel better or
feel worse? Which
ones always have drama or don't really understand,
know and appreciate
you and the gift that lies within you? When you seek
growth, peace of
mind, love and truth, the easier it will become for
you to decide who
gets to sit in the FRONT ROW and who should be moved
to the balcony of
your life.
You cannot change the people around you...but you can
change the people
you are around! Pray for godly wisdom and discernment
and choose wisely
the people who sit in the front row of your life.
The highest use of capital is not to make more
money but to make money do more for the
betterment of life
Henry Ford
My Black is Beautiful
From the color of my skin, to the texture of my hair
to the length of my strands, to the breadth of my smile.
To the stride of my gait, to the span of my arms, to the depth of my bosom
to the curve of my hips, to the glow of my skin...
My black is beautiful
It cannot be denied. It will not be contained.
And only I will define it.
For when I look in my mirror, my very soul cries out,
My black is beautiful
And so today, I speak it out loud, unabashedly, I declare it anew.
My black is beautiful
Whether celebrated, imitated, exploited or denigrated
Whether natural from inside or skillfully applied.
My black is beautiful
To my daughters, my sisters, my nieces, my cousins, my colleagues and my friends,
I speak for us all when I say again,
My Black is Beautiful

You've got to believe that God is in control of your life. It may be a tough time but you've got to believe that God has a reason for it and he's going to make everything good.
Joel Osteen
Trials keep You Strong,
Sorrows keep You Human,
Failures keep You Humble,
Success keeps You Glowing,
But Only God keeps You Going!
