..seasons come ....seasons go
....summer tends to stand still ...spring tends to flow
....I've watched throughout my life... the miracles of seasons change
....I've seen winter's frost melt....I've smelt autumn's rain.....
....I've allowed myself to know love.... as I've also endured its pain
...Trust me when I tell you seasons do change.
....I've sat and watched the sunrise ...as I've looked along the sky......
....I've seen birds caroling at dusk...I've watch them learn to fly
....I've weathered so many of life's storms ...I've witnessed a few that wouldn't rest
....I've second guessed decisions I've made.....though I've always known what's best
....But my seasons have brought on a change ...for which only I could attest
....These seasons took time preparing me ......and for it I am Blessed.
....So, trust me when I tell you some season's change is for the best.
....It may take you some time to comprehend....that my spring is now your fall
....The hardest part would be letting you go.....and learning to trust HIM with it all.
....All those seasons were for a reason......for which my soul now protects
....Just as seasons bring about change...I'd have lived without regrets
....However, as long as autumn comes....I can look back in retrospect
.On how I'd come so far ..and how you should never forget
